Hello! Thank you for visiting my client galleries! My name is Katy Taylor and photography is definitely a passion! It all started about 6 years ago when I had a difficult experience at a studio with my two-year-old twins. They were crying, I was crying, and I left swearing I would never do it again! Shortly after, I got my first camera. I spent about a year watching EVERY. SINGLE. VIDEO. TUTORIAL. I could find. I also practiced everything I learned on my children! After about a year, I started practicing on families for free, just to get a portfolio together. After two years of learning everything I could, I finally "opened" to the public. I have done all kinds of photography----children, families, maternity, newborn, engagement, weddings, seniors, and even boudoir! While I prefer family sessions, I am developing a love for weddings! Other than photography, I'm a teacher, too! That is definitely my first love, with photography a close second! I also help coach a mini all-star cheerleading squad! My husband and I have been together 18 years and have two children (twins) together. I also have an adult stepdaughter, who recently started her own family! She made us grandparents---twice! We now have two, adorable little granddaughters! In the photo you will see all of us! Little Ariella is the newest addition!
